A recent study by Allegra Strategies - the 2009 ?Top of Mind? report, details insights into senior executive?s thinking in the Food and Beverage sector, and has shown that the Corporate Competencies required to provide competitive advantage over the next few years and in the light of current economic conditions are changing.
Last year the study showed that innovation was the most critical competency, whereas for 2009, senior execs believe that innovation has to share first place with Customer Service Excellence; this recognises that in highly competitive markets, businesses that demonstrate that the consumer is at the very heart of everything that they do, will win.
